Virus emails blasting my inbox

I have tons of emails with virus I am getting, just today I've got around 500 of them, and the end of the day is not near, it's only 5PM, Norton warns me the virus has been deleted and I have to click finished button everytime, this is a pain in the ....

If someone know how to get rid of them without clicking on "finished" everytime please help me.

I went away for the weekend and came back to 12,521 virii emails in my inbox - made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside

Found out why I haven't had any. My ISP has been removing them as they arrive! Good old BTInternet. Now if all ISPs did the same, these viruses would never get off the ground.

It seems to be making a comeback... the volume dropped considerably for me a few days ago but the last two days it increased again. Now I'm getting close to a thousand a day on two accounts.

I've noticed lots of websites that I normally visit are offline and even getting to wincustomize has been spotty. I don't know if it's their servers or my cable provider having trouble.

One of my ISP's web-clients lets me delete everything in one shot but the other will only show 10 items per page. Takes about an hour to get rid of all the viri on both servers.

I noticed the usual flood of spam was abated by the virus but now it's coming back too. This sucks...

Nearly all of the virii coming to me are on one email account that I almost never have used.....infact only once and that was since they started......my most 'public' email addy.....easily found via googling 'Jafo' is virtually free of 'em.......says a lot for the actual 'source' of the infection....

All of mine are coming in on only one account also........ and a fairly new one. The addy I set up for the skinnerz pix site.

Hmm, someone with my alternate e-mail address has the virus. Today I've had a dozen (cleaned) e-mails from...me!

More than 10.000 e-mails daily is something that has started to make me mad! >

I am stoping them and deleting them to my provider's server, but it is still huge time wasting!

yepp... it's funny but I don't think it's easing off at all - in fact, if anything I think it's getting worse.

I just wish email gateways would block all executable attachments... it would seriously reduce the amount of virus traffic - and if people want to send them, they can zip them up.

Hell Dragon...then they unzip them and get infected and you are back where you started.....it won't change a thing...

It is geting worse, because now, are not only the viruses that we receive, but also the huge amount of answers from some servers who are saying that we have send them e-mails with viruses!!!
I have deleted all my received e-mails and I went out for 3 hours and when I have re-open my e-mail I found 2.354 new e-mails with viruses

It is really geting worse!
